The adventures began when Caitlyn went with Madelyn and Daddy to Pismo Beach State Campground for an overnight campout Friday. They were joined by Mom, Richard and Austin for marshmallow and smokie roasting and a walk to see the beach at moonlight. This was because Dad forgot to bring the pump for the air mattresses!
On Saturday, they played again at Pismo Beach, went shell hunting at Shell Beach, then came home to relax and do a little rock climbing on the side of the house. Finally, we went to dinner at Caitlyn's choice: Dragon Palace Chinese Buffet. She loves Chinese food! She blew out all her candles and opened presents afterwards, but we saved the cake for Sunday because she was stuffed.
I think her favorite gift so far was a Pokemon Emerald game for her DS, which she is holding in this photo next to a bird kite. (We opted not to get the real bird she asked for!) She came back from the campout quite sunburned but very happy!
