New Year's Eve Party with My Dad (Grandpa Whetten)

We celebrated New Year's Eve in the casita. Bev came to stay the night with Kurt (and Barney showed up later to sleep after work). My Dad came with Rob and Claire's family after hiking the Scarface trail while the rest of us went back to swim in the afternoon. We got takeout Chinese Food of all varieties and everyone chose their favorites for dinner. The adults all sat around the coffee table on the floor and ate with chopsticks (a Clifford tradition). The older cousins went out on the deck above the carport to eat, visit, watch the stars, and plan a skit to perform. My Dad went up to say goodnight before he went home and I took this picture in the dark, so even though it's blurry, it's the only one I have. He's handsome as usual in his blue shirt.
