We had some pretty severe rainstorms with high winds and several inches of rain. I used a sump pump to drain out our backyard pond out to the front street gutter. My new seedlings planted in front of the retaining wall were under inches of water, but they survived and the daffodils are getting closer to blooming each day, and one calendula has bloomed so far.
